If Germany has to assuage their collective past guilt with more immigration, why not invite some Mexicans and Central Americans to come out?  Mexicans work hard, like beer, have great food, and mostly share similar western values.  Germans have had relations with Mexico in the past. Of course, if it weren't for that Zimmerman telegram, they might not have ended up with Hitler. 

Why not invite Nepalese to Germany?  Or Thais?  Or Filipinos?  Or Brazilians?  Why do Germans need a vast influx from Syria and Iraq?
