Weirddave is right, this in a broad sense was predictable. Trump is not the problem, Trump is a symptom of a much bigger problem (it is not just illegal immigration, but a failure of the GOP elites to address conservative concerns in a consistent manner). I have nothing against
Hugh Hewitt and
Kevin Williamson, but pretending this is not a problem will not make it go away.
The Democrat hypocrisy in all of this is obvious (but the media does not call them on it). I doubt that many people are seriously considering Donald Trump as the conservative savior (this is all emotion right now), but there is a hunger for a candidate to challenge
the status quo.
