NEWSFLASH!! The world's oceans are filthy polluted messes with large hunks of garbage floating everywhere. Anyone remember that Tsunami that hit Japan last year and all the square miles of floating junk still heading to California?
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely true. They have to find a piece they know came from the aircraft or its cargo. Even if this is the explanation, I doubt they will find much.

DeleteEven if they have a pretty accurate idea about where it went down, there is still a near zero chance of finding the wreckage. It's a really big ocean. And deep too.

Nobody thought the WMDs were trucked out of Iraq into Syria.
But they were.
I will take it with a grain of salt, but I think they have confirmed this internally with engine pings and other evidence they have not fully disclosed (but who knows, the whole thing has been mishandled from the get).
