My fellow blogging friend Proof is still bitter about the Championship game (and I can't help but tease a little bit), but the truth is this win by Seahawks is the best thing that could happen to the 49ers (well other than only one of them can go to the Super Bowl each year):
The new rivalry in the NFL and one that will determine the rest of the decade will be the rivalry between San Francisco 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks. Russell Wilson and Colin Kapernick along with Andrew Luck and Cam Newton will be the faces of the NFL quarterbacks. The newer breed of quarterbacks are more than pocket passers, they also run when there is an opening.Update:

ReplyDeleteOh my golly...a four man backfield once again. Deja Vu or what, eh? Delighted to see it. I may even start watching football again. Maybe. It would encourage me if a big game MVP was an offensive lineman one of these days. Y'all just saw what happens when the O line breaks down.
