A passing of an All American hero: WWII Ace Pilot William Overstreet, Jr.

All American Blogger noted this a couple of days ago and I did a post at BSC News.  Because there is "good" crazy and it is worth celebrating.

Dave in Texas at AoSHQ also did a post today.  And it is worth posting again here.

RIP William Overstreet, Jr. and thank you for your service.

Thank you to all the men and woman who served honorably in WWII.

Update:

Wombat notes the passing of another WWII hero aviator, Jerry Coleman.  RIP

  1. As Bernard Law Montgomery once noted, "In war, there is often a place for mad people".
