Remember remember the 5th of November...



It is Guy Fawkes Day.  It was abandoned in the American colonies by direction of George Washington, due to its original anti Catholic sentiments (Washington pointed out it was not helping the Revolutionary cause by alienating Catholic allies).  Ironic that the godless Occupy Wall Street crowd adopted Guy Fawkes as their patron saint.

    Considering how much the Catholics eventually did to help build this country, George's wisdom once again shines through.
