Happy Rosh Hashanah

Honey and apples are a popular Rosh Hashanah treat...
Rosh Hashanah marks the start of the Jewish New Year.  It started at sunset tonight.  It continues till sunset on September 6.  It is followed in ten days by Yom Kippur, which is the Day of Atonement.  This period is considered an excellent opportunity to repent any transgressions.

  1. I can think of several people, though not Jewish, who have a lot for which they should atone.
