Big country.
ReplyDeleteBetter get through it before snowfly or you'll end up like the Donner Party.
The Bear Tooth itself... a jagged promontory in the Beartooths, one of my favorite places to visit on both the Montana side and the Wyoming side. Go up there every time I can...roads open in late May or early June. That said, I've been snowed off the Beartooth Highway in mid-June, same as on Dunraven Pass in Yellowstone.
ReplyDeleteYes, there is WWAN and cellular access on the heights in the Beartooths and in Yellowstone...in interior valleys, not so much.
