Obama Administration says Benghazi was a phony scandal... Update: CNN interviews Benghazi suspect!

Obama Press Secretary Jay Carney says Benghazi was a phony scandal
Not to Chris Stevens, Glen Doherty, Tyrone Woods, Sean Smith or their families...
RIP
U.S. Military was told to stand down during the Benghazi attacks
One surviving victim waited 20 hours for aid while Obama was fundraising in Las Vegas...

Update:
No comment by Obama on other Democrat scandals however involving women...  Funny, he had no restraint making things up when he was up for re-election last year.  But now substantial scandals such as Benghazi where four Americans were killed and the IRS targetting of tea partiers involving his Administration are "phony" and sexcapades of Filner and Weiner are ignored.
IRS Scandal: Day 84
War on Women boomerangs on Democrats
Talking about "phony" scandals:  If CNN can interview a Benghazi suspect, why can't the FBI (and the Obama Administration)
CNN REPORTS: Exclusive: Dozens of CIA operatives on the ground during Benghazi attack. “CNN has uncovered exclusive new information about what is allegedly happening at the CIA, in the wake of the deadly Benghazi terror attack. Four Americans, including Ambassador Christopher Stevens, were killed in the assault by armed militants last September 11 in eastern Libya. Sources now tell CNN dozens of people working for the CIA were on the ground that night, and that the agency is going to great lengths to make sure whatever it was doing, remains a secret. CNN has learned the CIA is involved in what one source calls an unprecedented attempt to keep the spy agency’s Benghazi secrets from ever leaking out. . . . Since January, some CIA operatives involved in the agency’s missions in Libya, have been subjected to frequent, even monthly polygraph examinations, according to a source with deep inside knowledge of the agency’s workings. The goal of the questioning, according to sources, is to find out if anyone is talking to the media or Congress.”
Notice who they’re trying to keep the secrets from.

  1. Dereliction of duty ought to be an impeachable offense.

I think it would be if it had ever, ever seemed remotely imaginable to the Founders.

    1. It is.

One of those "High crimes" (ie, felonies) - actually misfeasance, malfeasance, and nonfeasance in office - mentioned in the Constitution.

  2. A "phony" scandal says the man who has never once in his life faced danger or face to face threat of death, without a security detail, for just doing his job. Soldiers and operators mean nothing to him. I assure you Obama means nothing to me because those who have died so that I might still live occupy my every thought every day. But he does know his "phony" that's sure...read his book and listen to his speeches about the tribulations he's faced....entirely in is imagination and no where else.

    1. If CNN can interview a Benghazi suspect, why not the FBI or CIA? Obama is pursuing this case like OJ pursued Nicole's murderer.
