Update:
Here is a tweet from a real conservative:
Current law provides DHS shall, not might, SHALL provide at least 2 layers of fence over 700 specified miles—how much do we have? 36.6 milesThe Shark Tank reports:

Senator Rand Paul has all but said that he would not support it, while Rubio is fully backing this amendment. Yes, if this amendment is inserted into the ‘Gang of Eight’ immigration reform bill, it would make the border stronger, but it still doesn’t take away from the fact that this new bill, were it to pass in the Senate, will die in the House of Representatives.Do not count on that. It would not make the bill stronger at all if it doesn't happen after the bill becomes law. The Democrats could give amnesty and then not do it. There are really no provisions to hold the Democrats feet to the fire. If this bill passes strong in the Senate, there will be enormous pressure by the GOP Elites on John Boehner (and he is not exactly a warrior when it comes to putting pressure on him).
All they can manage is bad immigration reform because the Dems still clean their clock on messaging. Pathetic.
