And this is not intended to be harsh to Roger Ebert. I disagreed with his politics, and even some of his reviews, but I did watch him and his criticism was sometimes helpful to me in making film viewing choices (or thinking about movies I had seen). And suspect Roger would like being compared to a major film villain in an obituary/RIP post. So RIP Roger and say hi to Gene for us.
