Rather than shooting the messenger, maybe we should pay more attention to the message...

The truth hurts sometimes... (especially if you were at Fort Hood that day with Major Nidal Hasan)
"Americans need to understand the threat they're facing. That is the point of our ads. The slaughter of Christians in Nigeria, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Malaysia, Algeria et al -- that doesn't warrant a statement, let alone a press conference from San Francisco authorities, but my ads do. Think about that. Hundreds of thousands dead, but it would be blasphemy to talk about. The slaughter in the cause of jihad is OK, but my talking about it is the problem."

These ads are intended to be provocative, but for good reason. There is an element of Islam that thinks this sort of Jihad is perfectly okay. That topic is worth addressing.  As noted at Protein Wisdom: Quoting someone accurately is not hate speech. And to those Muslims who despise terrorism, why aren't you joining Pam Geller in denouncing it? Pam Geller is not the problem. Which is more hateful?  Staying silent in the face of murder or speaking out peacefully about it?

Update:
Quoting someone accurately is not hate speech...
