Homogenous Elite is not the right description, they are our eunuch court mandarin class...

Robert Stacy McCain is absolutely spot on, except for what he calls them.    

They are not actually eunuchs, if they were they would not be so randy and annoying when they go out to clubs in Georgetown, Dupont, and Adams Morgan.  But our current Mandarin class and the eunuchs of the Chinese and Ottoman courts are disturbingly similar.
