Gays groups getting vapors over DC Comics hiring Orson Scott Card to write Superman...

Superman may live a secret life and like this outfit,
but he really isn't gay, is he?
Orson Scott Card, the science fiction writer (Ender's Game is a great book, beyond being a great science fiction book), has been tapped by DC Comics to write a Superman comic series.  You would think fans would welcome such a pick (and most probably do), but because Card is a member of the LDS Church and is personally socially conservative, gay groups are having a hissy fit upset.

Hmmm.  So where is the tolerance from the left and the LGT community?  I thought the personal beliefs/behavior of the artist should not matter?

In related DC Comic news, they are doing a new comic book series based on Occupy Wall Street and the 99%?  I can hardly wait how that turns out (oh wait, I know, I witnessed it, as well as smelled it, for several months).

  1. The beliefs of the artist don't matter so long as they are gay and liberal/progressive.

Conservatives are not welcomed even if they are homosexual.

Straight conservatives of either gender are discouraged from living in California.
