Joe Biden: Was this malarkey or some other stuff?

The Washington Free Beacon calls Mr. Biden on this.  I am supporting "other stuff" over malarkey.

Joe Biden claims he did voted against the Iraq and Afghan wars, except he didn't:

I was there, I voted against them,” Biden continued. “I said, no, we can’t afford that.”
Then Sen. Biden voted for the Afghanistan resolution on Sept. 14, 2001 which authorized “the use of United States Armed Forces against those responsible for the recent attacks launched against the United States.”
And on Oct. 11, 2002, Biden voted for a resolution authorizing unilateral military action in Iraq, according to the Washington Post.
Then again, the explanation may be BSC.

Here is Joe Biden in full Snickerdoodle mode...
And here is my immediate post debate reaction.

And here are Joe Biden's top ten biggest lies during the debate last night...

Update (great comment from a Legal Insurrection reader):

I was pretty livid when he lied about voting for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan until someone on another blog made a good point in his defense. He can’t remember that far back.

  1. When you said BSC, I first thought of BSE, bovine spongiform encephelapy or whatever it is. (Thought you were making a cow joke.)

BSC, BSE. Either works for me!

    1. Bovine spongiform encephelapy and Joe Biden...hmmmm, it does potentially explain a lot!
