Ann Althouse is exploring an electoral college tie: 269 and 269


Ann Althouse just had this post.   I did a post on that topic on October 13...  But it is an interesting question.  And the possibility of it, while still remote, is definitely rising.

What is especially strange about that is that we could end up with a Romney Biden administration!  Talk about agita!

    Romney would be forced to make Paul Ryan his "Special Assistant" for Vice Presidential affairs, and send Biden to man a radar station in Alaska unless his Constitutional duties required him to cast a tie vote in the US Senate.

      Better yet, make him the special inspector of Amtrak and have him continually ride the rails. Until Congress cut the subsidy and lets it die.
