Never Forget: World Trade Center, New York, September 11, 2001

To those who witnessed it, remember what happened that day: in New York City, at Shanksville, and at the Pentagon. RIP to those who fell.  Especially remember the heroes.  There were hundreds of heroes that day and many gave the ultimate sacrifice.  And never forget the evil ideology of al Qaeda that planned and perpetrated those attacks.

Update:  There were many heroes that day.  From those of the FDNY, NYPD, and Port Authority to died in those buildings trying to save others, to citizens who stepped up to help.

Update:
Da Tech Guy suggests breast beating is not appropriate when we are at war.  I agree to a point, but it is still important to remember 9/11.  As far as al Qaeda, we can send them reminders too.
9/11 + 11
The Note

  1. Thanks for the tip:

The video, posted on the White House YouTube channel today, makes no mention of 9/11, the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood, or the role of Qatar-based Al Jazeera in broadcasting radical anti-American propaganda. And while offering support for democratic change, Obama neglects to ask the Emir to step aside.

Ironically, Obama caused a scandal last year when CBS News caught him criticizing the Emir of Qatar after reporters had left a fundraiser in Chicago: "He is a big booster, a big promoter of democracy all throughout the Middle East...He himself is not reforming significantly. There is no big move towards democracy in Qatar."

Obama has evidently chosen to make up for the insult--by insulting fellow Americans on 9/11.

Obama is the doofus who is going to say Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan don't know what they are doing on foreign policy? Really?
