Bill Clinton is the keynote speaker for the Democrat National Convention

Bill Clinton on Barack Obama: "A Few Years Ago, This Guy Would Have Been Carrying Our Bags"
Tim Russert told me that, according to his sources, Bill Clinton, in an effort to secure an endorsement for Hillary from Ted Kennedy, said to Kennedy, “A few years ago, this guy would have been carrying our bags.”

That there is no love loss between Clinton and Obama is well known, but who does this alleged statement benefit? Obama or Clinton? Obama certainly. It makes him sympathetic, it is playing the race card, and if Bill Clinton misbehaves at the DNC well that confirms the allegation doesn't it?  And there is no way to go to Tim Russert to confirm if the original statement is true or not.

Anyone can be accused of racism.  That is the beauty of the charge.

Meanwhile, where is Hillary Clinton again?
So is the Obama Administration's legacy built of sand?
So what are the pitfalls Barack Obama needs to watch out for at the DNC?
