Andrew Sullivan promises us a bright future over the next four years...

The reality of waving Obama flags is a bit different than the dream...

Does even Andrew Sullivan believe this nonsense?
[Obama] will become the Democrats’ Reagan. The narrative writes itself. He will emerge as an iconic figure who struggled through a recession and a terrorized world, reshaping the economy within it, passing universal health care, strafing the ranks of al-Qaeda, presiding over a civil-rights revolution, and then enjoying the fruits of the recovery …
And unlike Clinton’s constant triangulating improvisation, Obama has been playing a long, strategic game from the very start—a long game that will only truly pay off if he gets eight full years to see it through. That game is not only changing America. It may also bring his opposition, the GOP, back to the center, just as Reagan indelibly moved the Democrats away from the far left.
The Howard Stern interviews were bad enough, but at least you could explain those by the ignorance and lack of following the news of the people being interviewed.   How do you explain the delusion that Andrew Sullivan, who still considers himself a supporter of Reagan and Thatcher, is operating under?

Update:
Madonna thinks Obama is a Muslim.

  2. Romney thinks cold fusion is real - why do none of his supporters report that stuff?

    1. Romney said he thought Pons and Fleischman were onto something with Cold Fusion, but they failed to reproduce their experiement. Okay. I am with you that cold fusion is virtually disproved (nothing in science is ever completely disproved, but we are quite close to that point on cold fusion). And your point? This is fatal to Romney?

Meanwhile Barack Obama says this today to the UN: "The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam." What does that mean? Did you speak out against that Crack? I am guessing you are not good with that statement. Talk about not getting free speech.

I consider President Obama's position far more of a non starter than a guy who wishes cold fusion was real.
