Rumblings of fiscal disaster in Sicily...

A bloated government bureaucracy in Sicily needs to be bailed out by the European Union...
There are more government foresters in Sicily than in British Columbia?  Government leaders there (believe it or not a leader on government waste) are retiring on €500,000 annual pensions? The Euro is dropping but it is currently at 1.22 to the dollar so this is an annual pension of $610,000?


Sicily was a Greek colony back in the day.  


Update:  
The Corner is reporting the Germans are getting skittish about Greece (and undoubtably Southern Italy and Sicily too).  
Problems in Spain are triggering a slide of U.S. stocks...
