Bicyclist Chris Bucchere is being charged with felony vehicular manslaughter for hitting pedestrian with his bike...

This is where the collision took place...
An arrest warrant has been issued.  There are witness statements that Chris Bucchere was riding his bike recklessly and ran a red signal just before the collision.

  1. A person is dead. Whether the vehicle is a semi or unicycle, physics is boss: how much force did Bucchere use in killing the old man? How is this different from using a car?

But, given the location of the incident, I'm actually surprised a former member of an unprotected class even got time of day from the police.

    1. Agreed. You should not face a felony for an accident, but if you were riding recklessly you should. There sounds like there is witness testimony to support this charge.
