Can Obama be beaten?

John Cassidy at The New Yorker pretty good article on what it will take for Mitt Romney to get to 270 electoral votes...  While the current conditions favor President Obama, Romney definitely could beat him.

You don't have to take my word for it:
"Friend," Obama campaign manager Jim Messina wrote [on March 13, 2012], "If the general election were held today, President Obama would lose to Mitt Romney -- according to the latest poll from Washington Post-ABC News. Now, many other polls put the President on top, but all point to the same reality: We're looking at a race that will be tighter than you think," Messina warned.
