Here is the initial Breitbart link, but there is nothing terribly controversial about the edited video. For a law student, Barack Obama is a talented speaker in the video (although he should not have his hands in his pockets). While I disagree with a lot of Derrick Bell's scholarship, the setting is Cambridge, Massachusetts and the audience is obviously receptive to these arguments. I am interested in seeing what has been edited out.

- Obama Administration fired Shirley Sherrod and then lied to cover it up... Sherrod’s lawsuit against Breitbart is still going forward (except now against his estate as opposed to him). Shouldn’t the White House’s role in all of this be relevant to her claimed damages and to why she was fired?
- Remember, on the campaign trail, Obama said that adding $4 trillion in debt over Bush’s eight years was “irresponsible” and “unpatriotic.”
- According to some at CNN we are all a bunch of raaaaacists...let's face fact that this is war and the other side is going to lie all the time.
- It has been a trap all along...and George was in on it.
- Ann Althouse: Video a total bomb and Barack Obama seems charming...I see another Obama vote in Wisconsin coming (maybe she will get Meade to vote that way too!) I do not disagree with Ann that the video itself if not the big deal. But I assume there is more to this that is coming. And I disagree that Derrick Bell's theories cannot be questioned. A lot of voters would be offended by his opinions. And that is something legitimate to discuss in connection with Barack Obama, since he clearly supported him. If we are going to see a "vetting" of Republican candidates on Opus Dei and LDS practices, why not an examination of Barack Obama's connections to Jeremiah Wright and Derrick Bell?
- Jim Geraghty: At no point in 2008 was the American electorate informed that Obama led a protest on behalf of a law professor who believed that the U.S. legal system was incontrovertibly racist from its moment of creation, or that he thought so well of an outspoken public defender of Louis Farrakhan.
