Federal investigations that never happened: Say it ain't so Wyclef, say it ain't so...

Wyclef Jean stole, lost or squandered money from his Haitian earthquake charity?  Although he is sorta Haitian, so does that make it okay?   Scientologist Wyclef Jean is a friend of Barack Obama and the Democratic Party.  Hmmm, I wonder if he would have been investigated if he were a conservative?

But are there other Democrats getting special treatment?
I don't know where the money went...
Former New Jersey Democrat Senator Jon Corzine.  Wyclef is a piker compared to the money Jon Corzine "lost."  There were congressional hearings on this, Jon Corzine was in charge, but why aren't the feds going after him personally?  Have they even frozen his assets?  Obviously different rules apply to Democrats.
Update:
Bonuses for Corzine's crew!
The latest twist is that he had ample warnings and charged ahead anyway. MF Global’s risk officer, Michael Roseman, told Corzine repeatedly that the firm was heading for an iceberg. Instead of listening, MF Global got rid of him. Full speed ahead.

  1. Part of the problem with Corzine is the timeline. Sure, he retained an attorney to depend against criminal charges, but that is Corzine recognising his persecution of Ken Lay earned him some bad karma.

Most of the money of the $1.6bn that's gone missing may have happened before Corzine took the CEO job. Corzine was recruited for his close contacts to the POTUS, most of the Senate Dems, and political appointees to the Justice Department who would be (and are) in charge of any criminal investigation in the event anyone notices 1.6 billion dollars went missing.

Now Corzine is earning every penny of his pay and perks. A lot of criminals who made up the staff at MF Global will get away to do this again while Corzine buys a Presidential Pardon.

    1. All this can be answered with forensic accounting. I am not buying that it happened before Corzine took over MF Global unless someone shows that to me. Right now, it happened on his watch and he is responsible. At a minimum, he should have know far sooner if there was a problem and blown the whistle himself.
