'ROGUE' US SOLDIER KILLS 16 AFGHAN CIVILIANS...
This is going to be very bad for U.S. and Afghani relations. Unlike burning some damaged Korans, this is legitimately something to protest. We did face something similar (on the receiving end) at Fort Hood. Not widely reported, a second attack there was stopped. Six U.S. service members were killed in Afghanistan over the Koran burning incident. What was the motivation for this?

Update:
Solider appeared drunk, laughing...

This is horrible. I'm trying to find out if the accused is from the unit I was in.
ReplyDeleteThe Beeb reports the soldier suffered a mental breakdown prior to committing this crime.
BTW, the story about the soldier who wanted to commit Fort Hood II has been covered over at This Ain't Hell. The alleged terrorist had deep ties, and assistance in deserting from anti-war groups. Whether he got bankrolled by these same Progressive Dems to buy the weapons hasn't been reported yet.
ReplyDeleteRepeat deployments cause such stress for the soldier and the family, it really must stop. I just heard that they may have sped up the withdrawal from 2014 to 2013. As you know my daughter is still there, this kind of thing puts fear into the hearts of the families and loved ones back home, especially coming on the heels ofthe accidental Koran burnings.
