MAGA Miss Me Yet? ☀️🤔

 


I have mixed feelings. I thought Trump's policies, both domestic and foreign policy, were over all excellent. His execution (especially on the wall) was far less than was desired and there was way too much unnecessary drama. The Democrats and Media constantly attacked him, the GOPe played him, and Trump did not help himself with a series of very bad cabinet and administrative picks and a chaotic White House. Of course Wuhan Flu allowed to Dems to change voting rules (the steal happened long before November 2020). 

Trump certainly did not help himself immediately post election (as noted, the steal was done at that point). The Dems constant Jan 6 crying has gone no where. The persecution of Jan 6 protesters is shameful and needs to end. If the GOPe wants to regain the trust of the base, shutting down that star chamber and pushing for Merrick Garland's impeachment would be an excellent start.  

Still, Trump's legacy seems great compared to the freak show going on since Biden took over. Biden is one of the worst president's we ever had, and we are not even half way through. We are in recession (and headed for worse) and inflation is out of control. Biden, as promised, gutted the domestic oil and gas industry. The Afghanistan withdraw was a complete self imposed disaster. I am certain that the Russian invasion of Ukraine would not have happened under Trump. Our foreign policy sucks and no one respects Biden. Joe Biden's cognative decline cannot be ignored and his controllers are craven. The Biden family drama, as unveiled by Hunter's laptop and iphone, is shocking and disturbing. 

Let's see how November 2022 goes (let's see how Trump Senate endorsements do). I am curious to see how Trump DeSantis plays out--but that will be later  Right now, I would prefer DeSantis (he fights and I think would be excellent)--but if Trump prevails that is ok too. I know whoever is the Republican will be vilified by the media and Democrats.
