Arkansas: A Review πŸ“ΊπŸŽ₯

I would have been disappointed seeing this one in the theaters, but for an Amazon selection I watched cold it was entertaining. It is predictable and derivative of plenty of other crime dramas, but the ensemble cast  of Vince Vaughn, John Malkovich, and Liam Hemsworth manage to make it work. The life of drug dealing is dangerous and not all that glamorous and this does capture that.

I can tell you this though, skip Radioactive. That is the Amazon historic bio-drama about Marie Currie.  I turned it off when they had Pierre Currie addressing the Nobel Committe on keeping radioactive materials out of the hands of criminals, interposed with a flash forward of the Enola Gay dropping the atom bomb on Hiroshima. I am not supporting that trash.

Hiroshima and Nagasaki were necessary to stop real criminals and monsters who killed many millions (and would have killed millions more if given the chance). It would have been criminal not to stop that war sooner.
