Virginia's First Lady Democrat Pam Northam Offends Black Students With Talk About Slavery and Cotton Picking

After Virginia's Democrat Governor Ralph Northam rightly being called out for his black face/KKK year book pictures, you'd think he and his family would try to avoid controversy right now.  Pam Northam managed to offend some students during a recent tour of the governor's mansion by pointing out the the hardship of picking cotton during slavery.

I wasn't there, but from what I read I do not think Pam Northam was intentionally being racist. Being a slave in Virginia in the 1800s was not an easy life--and I will give Pam Northam the benefit of doubt that was the point she was trying to make. Still, Pam Northam probably should avoid sensitive subjects given her husband's past minstrel/KKK costumes when he was in medical school.

  2. Wasn't she the one that prevented Coonman from moonwalking because she thought it was a bad idea? Maybe she needs a keeper, too.
