I heard some NPR douchebag pronounce "foliage" as "foh-lidge" the other day, so I checked Merrian-Webster as a "WTF" check. Seems that altho "foh-lee-udge" is the first pronunciation listed, their audio guide actually uses that godawful second one.Seriously, wha?
The rolled Spanish r's on NPR are pretentious enough and now this!
