Rick Santorum's insurance proposal : the alternative to Obamacare

While Rick Santorum is hardly the first politician to suggest people should have the right to buy health insurance on their own with pretax dollars, it is a viable alternative to Obamacare and should be adopted.

Santorum's own webpage acknowledges how Paul Ryan has suggested something similar as an alternative for Medicare.

Forbes had an article earlier this year on Santorum's record which is a mixed bag (including some support to insurance mandates) but his current proposals seem to be a step in the right direction.

So Kudos to Rick Santorum for bringing it up again.
