Hugo Chavez threatens to nationalize some Venezuelan banks

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez warned private banks on Sunday that he will consider nationalizing any that refuse to finance agricultural projects promoted by his government.


El presidente venezolano, Hugo Chávez, dijo hoy que su país cuenta con 17 millones de hectáreas para el desarrollo cárnico y lechero, pero que el Estado solo controla 800,000 hectáreas, y ordenó actuar para aumentar esa cantidad.
