"I write in order to attain that feeling of tension relieved and function achieved which a cow enjoys on giving milk." H.L. Mencken
I'll stick with Da Vinci. They pull a little of blood and guts, but Thrones seems to be just a vehicle to see how far they can push the envelope..Remember, it's not TV, it's porn on HBO.
It was better if you saw the whole scene. The fight choreography reminded me of what they would do on Rome, and given that was HBO too, they could be using the same people on this project. Actress Indira Varma who plays Martel's girlfriend Ellaria Sand, was Lucius Vorenus's wife, Niobe.
Oh, most episodes of Hannibal are worse, and it's on network TV.That looks close enough to the books, however.
Overall it was actually a well orchestrated fight scene, but brutal at the end.
That's pretty much how it was in the book, too - well choreographed and brutal. I think the end was a little different, but I'm not sure as our copies of the books are on the other side of the country. But that's pretty much how it played out in the book. After this, things get ... interesting ... for The Mountain.
Did anyone else get a strong Inigo Montoya vibe from Oberyn Martell?
I felt the Inigo vibe too!
